I know - as I said on FB, I'll really, really try and post as Mike tonight.
Lots, and lots to do at work in a hot environment doesn't really make me have a lot of energy left when I get home.

  "Standby, a coms set is on its way. I hope the Apollo has good aim."

*Radio*
  "Okay Jon to make this quicker I am going to replay exactly what Agent told me in our conversation." She then hit replay.

 "Barrett. Is that you Cheryl?"

 "Yes Mister Barrett it is, are you busy and is it safe to talk?"

 "Malcolm please. Yes its okay, I'm at Langley right now in between meetings. How can I help?"

 "I'm sending you a photo from Lieutenant Nealson, he's in town with his team on some leave. I'm not sure what its about but I guess when you ID the man we'll find out."

 Pause. "Yeah got it. Give me two minutes." Another even longer pause. "Cheryl, you had better get back to Nealson real quick. The guy in the photo is one Nigel Parks a reporter for the Colorado Sun, previously with the Washington Post up until a year ago. He was one of several we targeted years ago trying to dig up intel on the SGC. He's a full time conspiracy theorist and full time dirt bag. I can have two agents there in thirty minutes so whatever you tell them, make sure you get them to stall, no sudden movements and for them to stay put. If they leave he will only follow them. Got all that?"

 "Yes sir..er Malcolm. I'll call you back if I hear anything else okay? Oh do you think I should inform the Admiral?"

 "No not yet, we need to find out what he wants. Once we do that, we'll haul him into the SGC. Its such a pity Teal'c isn't with you, I'm rather fond of his interrogation methods. Catch you soon."

 When it was done she spoke again. "Got all that?"

 So much was happening it was hard to keep up, more letting everyone especially Bryan get over the shock of her  'distraction'. "Yeah it worked and you know I don't." She wanted to say to him there'd be more of that, maybe later if he asked her to dance. If, if they got the chance to. Right now Bonnie was feeling nervous, very nervous.

 Having no idea exactly where he was as in his position on the planet wasn't a problem for Cheryl, that was one of the magical things about having a subcutaneous transmitter fitted to all personnel. She knew he wouldn't be long, in that intervening time she organized with the Apollo to locate him then send a coms set. She silently hoped he had the lid down on the toilet; that would be insane if he didn't. When she heard him again Cheryl let him know. "Standby, a coms set is on its way. I hope the Apollo has good aim."

 Then she gave the word to the ship, they confirmed the 'package' had been set. She waited another minute or so for him to fit the earpiece. She connected to him via her desktop. "Okay Jon to make this quicker I am going to replay exactly what Agent told me in our conversation." She then hit replay.

I like anime but there are so many shows to choose from it's hard to get a concentrated group from a single fandom to make an RP work.

I know nothing about WoT unfortunately, but as a general rule I'm game to, well, game.

 WoT is friggin awesome, best books since LOTR. 14 of them to be exact and it does make great RPing if you can get the numbers of players

<Longhorn Restaurant - dining floor>

Jon scanned the text message from Brownwell, then stood up. "Pardon me, sir. Gotta hit the head. Or possibly take a phone call from a friend who promised to call me and fake an emergency if my blind date was going badly." He waggled his phone pointedly so Reynolds could see Brownwell's name on the screen. "If I'm not back in ten, well, alert the presses, or send SAR. Or, you know, don't."

He was pretty sure his teammates would get the message.

<Longhorn Restaurant - Men's room>

Then he ducked away from the table, headed to the bathroom, locked himself into a stall.

He fired off a text message to Brownwell.

"All ears."

The farce turned into a comedy rather quickly all the while Albert kept a wary eye on the target with the other eye on his team. Seeing Nealson work quickly did the right job and he doubted their man was even aware his photo had been taken. "I think it did." He said candidly and though he could just barely hear Brownwell talking on the other end of Jon's phone he suspected it was sent through without a hitch. Raising his voice a degree higher Al told them what he thought the best thing. "Just carry on people, we have a long night so lets make the best of it shall we?" At that moment he saw the waiters heading their way with the meals, he could even smell it from where he sat.
