Not too much different from home, there is one major difference though for SG1. They will not find things as they were when they left.

Daniel didn't have time for a witty reply, simply bolted for the gate and the DHD, started dialing Earth, one hand on his weapon the entire time, though he had to trust his team to have his back.

As soon as the wormhole established, he sent his IDC through.

"Come on!" he shouted to the others.

He flinched whenever he heard death gliders overhead, heard Jaffa weapons fire.

Tilly was listening to the song in her headphones when a few rapid knocks tapped the door into her room. Taking her ear phones out, she paused the music and ran toward the door. Opening it, she noted one of the SFs handing her a note while speaking, "Ma'am. Note from Walter. Something about a briefing room he thought you should attend."

"Uhh," Tilly murmured while reading the note. She responded slightly confused, "Thanks airman."

She closed the door in his face and turned around while reading the note. Laying her back against the door, she pondered a bit to herself curious as to what's going on. She heard about the snow blocking the access out of the base. The sergeant did pick a few things over the radio. Tilly murmured while crumpling the paper, "Might as well check it out. Ohh, better get into my regular gear." She sighed looking at the mirror next to her. She wore her shirt with the reindeer jumping around the Christmas tree covered with snow along with the antler headband holding her hair back.

Covering her face, she exhaled feeling embarrassed for the airman seeing her out of her element with the seasons coming up. Taking a few moments of breath, she got dressed for the briefing.

Moments later, which didn't take long as all Tilly had to multitask to quickly braid her hair while dressing into her regular camo security uniform to look professional in the briefing room. Approaching the door, she opened it to enter through the doorway to see the others in the room. Being only in the SGC for a few months, it would be Tilly's chance to get to know people. Taking her seat, she waited patiently for the briefing to start.

"Stargate Command, this is Alpha Site. Israel speaking. Is Colonel McCarthy there? Commodore Whitmore would like to speak to her."

Noah started humming the theme song from a game he played called Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3. Slightly distracted, he didn't notice Alex standing there. Looking up with the theme song still ringing in his head, he replied, "Huh? Oh, sure. No problem, sir. Give me a second."

After taking a few moments to dial home, the stargate activated with a whoosh following his reply, "Stargate Command, this is Alpha Site. Israel speaking. Is Colonel McCarthy there? Commodore Whitmore would like to speak to her."

Noah sighed. He had almost forgot her gender but remembered this time. Silently, he resumed his humming of a stuck song in is head in a loop.

I like this and those are awesome pictures. Posted so I can receive notifications for this one. What are the rules tho? Any particular ones? Do I have to take the pictures or find them somewhere on the internet. Does it have to be my hometown? I was born in Pittsburgh PA, but I haven't been there in ages since I was thirteen. Or I can just share photos from my local area?

Im sorry for posting words, but it was just a few questions. Next post I make will be with pics when I can get them...

From Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 I once played eons ago when it first came out. Around 20 seconds they start singing and the THAT first four words is stuck in my head :D  :lol  :fp

I remember. I have such a weird memory that this song gets drilled into my head everytime I play the game and when I wipe out with the skateboard, the song repeats. The odd thing is the song all of a sudden started playing in my head for the past month or so and there was no trigger for it. That memory somehow triggered for me. Maybe its because lately, I'm starting to feel a little bit calmer as usual. Happier, maybe. Lately. Like something changed for me...

Oh and, as for the song getting drilled in your head, you're welcome   :sam10  :mwahaha

Though I saw the first edition, this version is so much better and credit to you Mel for the brilliant work.

@sorra Poor Alex indeed. Now he knows what Michelle meant when she said she was on 'special operations' previously  :fp

I adored the inclusion of references to Heroes and Moebius, that was indeed a wonderful nod to the show. The music is wonderful, a perfect accompaniment.  :)

Returning from the Dreadnought, Guide was in no mood for small talk. As soon as Rhiase found her way to the command deck he issued the order. "Now is the time to gather the scattered. Those that join with us well and good, those that refuse, we will simply warn them and let fate decide. Take us to the last known contact point with Scarface's ship, we can pick up his trail from there."

Breathing heavily Alex returned to where he started, excitement showing in the gleam of his eyes. "Noah lad, dial up the SGC for me as quickly as you can. Once you're connected ask Walter to get Colonel McCarthy back to the radio please."
