Tim grinned at the airman, “Oh get a grip will you Heckman! Just because you only have one thing in your mind, doesn’t mean the rest of us are the same,” then sighed and shoved a back pack from the shelves next to him in her arms, “Here, help out with our supplies.”

1st Lt Charlotte Summers

Charlotte sighed and then realised her back pack was admittedly only a small MOLLIE Pack but apart from the Zat attached to the side on one of the SGC's custom holsters for it, it was filled with water, food and medical supply's. She felt quite happy to finally be doing what she had been intended to do ever since Major Rivers recruited him in to the SGC

{CSM Walter Harriman USAF} NPC

"The gate room is clear. SG-9 is clear for embarkation," he called to the waiting team.

It was only natural that he would have his doubters - and that he would have to prove himself all over again. He'd been possessed by an alien entity, held prisoner and tortured; moreover, his wife of only a few short days, had given her life to stop a dangerous enemy. These past six months he'd seen the suspicious looks other base personnel threw his way when they thought he wasn't looking, and there were still nights he still woke up in a cold sweat.

"I'm fine. I'm clear-headed. Really," he assured Bonnie - or tried to. Admiral Davidson had shown confidence in him, one of Earth's foremost minds, as evidenced by this assignment. "I wouldn't be in command of this unit otherwise."

Robert heard Walter's voice over his radio just then; the Chief Master Sergeant's transmission caught the tail end of SG-9's pre-mission preparation, but it was the news he was waiting to hear. "You heard the man," he told his team. "Let's move, people."

"Yessir Eltee!" Bonnie said cheerfully. Nothing ever fazed her, not before her dramatic change and not now. She still had the same brain, only her body was somewhat different. Not that anyone would notice from the outside at least. A quick scan on an MRI might reveal a different picture though. Within moments the gear was packed and ready to go; she now had a small chest pack as well as her own bulging back pack.

Tim swung his back pack over his left shoulder and as he walked out of the armory, got his right arm through the other sling and started adjusting the straps to make it as tight and comfortable as possible.
‘Yep, this’ll be an interesting trip through the ‘Gate,’ he thought as he followed that energizer bunny called Heckman.

<<From Commander's Office>>

Requisition form in one hand, stack of manilla folders in the other, Donovan exited the elevator and paused to glance around.  This was one of the few rooms he'd never been privy to.  He was checked at the entry, and he handed the form to the first soldier who put his hand up.

"I also need a SF81 for quarters, and SF93 for the people on this list..." He pulled the top sheet off the roster and handed it over. "Admiral's authorization, eyes only and only sign out record keeping. Oh ... and a SF118A... for the SGC.  Today if possible."

The solder stared at him, and Donovan stared back, his face determined where the soldier's face was faintly blank, giving a faintly lost, "uhm..." before Donovan's brows lowered.

"A standard form 81 is for the room assignment, the standard form 93 is the medical records...and the 118a is structural facility roster showing me what rooms were assigned to what in the base... "

"We're just sentries, Sir," the other uniform intoned, tilting his head to the wire frame grated half door to the side. "They'll know what you're after in there..."

Taking back the documents from the dumbfounded soldier, Donovan's expression didn't change as he stepped past them into the requisition office itself and glanced around for the officer on duty.

Donovan spent nearly an hour in the archival requisition room with the orderly on duty.  It was a thankless job, and Donovan was one of those people who paid attention to the small things that made grander schemes possible.  Without the proper paperwork, documentation, and clear chain of command, the military in general, regardless of it's branch, would be a headache for anyone to try and sort out.  It was the quiet ones working on the sidelines like the Corporal handling the desk and making sure everything had a number and a name and a place, that made the SGC as functional as it did.  Donovan spent an extra fifteen minutes learning the man's name, how he came to the SGC, and his schedule; he had a feeling he was going to be in this room often, and it was better to have someone familiar.

All the essential documents in hand, including a layout schematic for the base itself, Donovan exited the Requisition file office content in the knowledge that his former Ori accoutrements; armor, staff weapon, and even the wrist cuff stunner, would be delivered to his new room on level 25.  He'd almost tried getting a room on one of the higher tiers for non essential personnel, just to prevent questions like 'What team do you lead?" but the Corporal found him one, and he had a key to room 319 in his pocket.

He hummed quietly to himself as he made his way up to the medical unit.

>> From Infirmary >>

Tim hauled the HK 416, followed by his P-90 up on the counter, “Hello? Anybody home?” As he waited for someone to show up from the inner rooms, he let his M9 as well as the zat go the same way, to land next to the bigger weapons.

Captain Reed Langston-NPC

Reed stepped out of the back room.  "Sorry about that. Didn't hear you come in," he said, walking over to where Tim was standing.  The man was on the shorter side, but had the arms and upper torso of a body builder.

Tim nodded towards the other officer, “Captain.”
He gave his CO’s weapon a pat, “This belongs to Captain Hughes. I got the impression he’s kind of fond of it, so be careful with it ok?” then pointed at his contribution on the counter, “These are mine and…” and started to empty his vest pockets with his spare ammo, “…all accounted for. Not a single shot fired.”
The Lt grinned, “So I guess one can call it a successful mission.”

Captain Reed Langston-NPC

Reed smiled as Tim patted the one weapon he was still holding. "Got it.  I will take extra special care of it," he promised.  Not that he didn't anyhow.  weapons could be dangerous and needed to be treated with respect. "Well, yes that is certainly a good mission.  No one hurt I'm guessing?"

Tim shrugged off his back pack and eased it down on the floor with a grin, “Nope, didn’t even have to hand out a band aid.”
He reached for the clip board on the wall, flipped through the papers until he got to the pages where SG-9 had signed out their weapons and put his signature in the boxes before handing it over to Langston for countersign. “Here you go, sir.”
Walking across the room towards the lockers he shouted over his shoulder, “So how about tomorrow morning? Same time as usual in the gym?”

Captain Reed Langston-NPC

"that's gotta be a first," Reed replied as he checked the weapons. "Normally someone at least bangs their knee."  not that he had been on many trips through the gate, but he had seen ones come back.  He started to collect the weapons to put them in their respective places.  "Sounds good to me.  I can use a stress reliever," he grinned.

Reed checked through the weapons once more to make sure he had everything.  He raised an eyebrow though and looked up at Tim. "I seem to be missing Captain Hughes side arm," he said.  "Or did I just overlook it?"
