Flynn spun at the voice, surprised to see Elle standing there.  She smiled at Cate. "Oh good.  At least it won't take as long this way."  She shook her head a bit as Elle disappeared again.  It seemed it was now time to get down to work.

Major Fred Rivers
Captain Harly Green
First Lieutenant Charlotte Summers
Company Sergeant Major Gary Carter

Fred did his best not to groan. His team were ready, they had been since the moment they arrived, only to have short and in a few cases either incredibly cryptic or just plain confusing briefings. He just took a moment to think before he nodded to his team.
"Go to the Control room and get beamed up to the Dreadnought. I'll be there in a tick" He said casually. They had comms, but had no idea what the standard for Atlantis was so decided to do it the easier if slightly longer way than flicking through all the channels before he found one that connected to the Dreadnought. His team left one by one as he took a deep breath and decided to make his way to the Quarter Masters stores to pick up some life signs detectors, or failing that, he could pinch some from a jumper. Nobody had thrown one at him, and he would rather pick up a few now whilst they were somewhere they were plentiful rather than wait and ask on the the Dread to find nobody had any to spare.

"Well, now... That works too. To be honest, I have no idea why we're wasting time now and again - entire information I've got so far could be divulged to us during a hyperlaunch."

Elena shook her head in disbelief, recalling how different SGA initiative operated compared to SGC, and how different both were in comparison to her own military, where there was now bouncing back and forth between the briefings and info was just fed down the chain, with the main links getting it on the way to their job.

"Okay, here's the plan - everyone check their things, grabs what they've forgotten or need, and beam up to the ship. Once we are all aboard, I'll poke Elle to hyperlaunch earlier. Get to it."

Colonel stood up, loudly pushing her chair away from the table, letting people know that she was done and she meant it.

Finally after all the argy bargy they were on their way which of course suited Cate down to a T. For her and indeed Flynn at least they had everything they needed. Cate had her largish back pack and the carry bag she always toted around (laptop and all the other necessities) sitting on her bed in the room provided for her. That to had a beaming locator attached to it, so really for her at least she only had to switch her coms frequency then make the call direct to the ship herself. Way much quicker that way. "Flynn, Will if you both are ready we can beam directly up now, the ship can pick up our things." She knew that Lena would do the same.

"Colonel Sheppard, McKay, Ronon, we'll see you aboard then." Cate stood at that point, waiting for acknowledgement from her teammates.

Flynn mentally went through the things she had packed in her bags on her bed.  She was pretty sure she had everything and if something was missing then she could more then likely do without it.  Her laptop and camera were securely packed in a different bag next to her large back pack that would be coming.  She nodded in answer to Cate. "All my things are still packed and ready to go," she answered.  For once she was glad she hadn't unpacked.

Even before joining the Stargate program, William made a habit of keeping his bag packed as much as possible. There was always the mission specific gear, but that was easily thrown together at the last minute. This was one of those times when he was glad for that fact.

"There's nothing further I need here. Let's get this show on the road."

The Russiand redhead smiled for a brief, mostly for herself only - the things were finally starting to work themselves out. There was nothing more left to be done in Atlantis and truly, whatever they would need all of a sudden, they could probably easily loot from the Dreadnaught's stores.

"Nagut. Then let us experience with a bored yawn that routine transportation we are so used to and which would awe any civilian out there to infinity..."

Her smart arse comment out, the woman tapped twice the direct comm link button to the Dreadnaught up in space, indicating that the things with the matching transponders had to be picked up as well and a moment later she was gone in a beam of light, flying kilomteres high.

Entering the Cafeteria John moved toward the front eyeing a delicious hamburger and a small amount of hot chips. Taking a tray and placing a plate on top he asked for the burger which of course was covered in Barbeque sauce.

“And some Ketchup on the chips please.” He said watching as the bloody looking sauce was poured over the hot cut potato.

“Thanks.” He took the tray with food and even had an orange soda on top as he made his way to a nearby table.

He marvelled at the tasty looking buns filled with an assortment of food from his home planet.
Taking a couple chips he quickly chomped them down before gripping the hamburger and sinking his jaw into it, the upcoming mission would be done on a full stomach.

<<From Office>>

There was no surprise in store for Richard when he made his way down to find the cafeteria in relative darkness. Apart from bumping into the edge of a table then being taken by the arm to a secluded hiding place he found himself feeling much like a child, as would most under the circumstances. In the semi light he found himself next to Sunniva who placed a slender finger to her lips indicating silence which he duly obeyed.

<<From Labs>>

The walk to the transporters then the cafe was quiet, Melinda was doing her best to not say anything she felt out of place. Basically she didn't want to spook her friend, not today at least. They passed a few personnel, some smiled, some said hello but most went on about their business. By the time they got to the right level it seemed so very eerie almost, Mel could see as soon as they were in the hallway that the lights were out up ahead. "Now I wonder why that is?" She said curiously. "Maybe a malfunction do you think Reese?" They continued on until they were inside, no one appeared to be around, no technicians, not even a chef. "Now this is really weird, really weird? " She said.

<<from his lab>>

Radek had bought his tablet with him and he was looking at it as he stepped out of the transporter, he glanced up briefly and back down then back up, he stopped, the light seemed dim in this section.

"co je špatné se světly?"*

He said in a whisper, tapping on the tablet.

He continued his walk to the cafe and heard voices

"Hello, anyone know what is occurring?"

He moved slowly into the cafe, trying to figure out the shapes in there

<<from labs>>

Reese walked quietly beside Mel.  Something didn't seem right,  first the way the nurses were acting and there was more to it she was sure,  Reese stopped in shock.   "What is going on?"

She heard a voice close by  "is that Radek?" She asked Mel.
