"Roger that. Fast Eagle Lead, Switch Lead. Shift AO to CAS. Camelot Lead, keep orbit and watch for enemy fighters. Hobo is coming off station at this time, plus Saint and Legs." Jack said, already angling back up for the Dread. Confirmations came through from the squadron commanders.

"Saint, coming off station, RTB." AJ said, bringing her -401 back around as well.

"That'll keep us covered for now. We'll rotate around a bit once we're verified that the threat has been nullified." Jack commented as the group headed back for the Dreadnought.

"I sure hope the ground teams are getting along better than we are. Sheesh." Jason said, leaning back in his seat.

Trigger had the time to reload his pistol, certainly having had no use for his sniper at this point in time as they rode the tram. It was familiar, to a weird sense of the word, like a bus but at the same time it was in his mind, akin to a death trap if things went wrong. Jim smirked at Midas' comment, nodding once.

It was soon that they found themselves up against fierce competition. Trigger flinched as Michelle had been peppered in concrete. He prepared his Remington Mk.13 as the comms had rattled to life with Sheppard's voice.

Trigger pushed in a magazine and took a breath.

"NOW!"

He pushed around the corner, lining up with the first of the Genii soldier that he had spotted and applied pressure to the trigger. The rifle kicked in his shoulder as he swept over to the next one.

NPC – Dr Jack Rizzoli

< Dreadnaught Med bay >

Carrie studied the screen displaying the interior of their patient as the scanner moved head to toe of him as she replied to Ruby. “Thank you. That helps a lot, not having to take a different physiology in to consideration. And about that other prisoner – we can only take about 500 mills from him, but sure, every contribution might be welcome. Can you check to see if it’s possible for some of the marines to have him transferred to the Iso unit next door?” She tore her eyes away from the screen as she continued and shrugged, “It’s just as impossible to break out of there as the brig, so if they are ok with moving him, he might as well wait here, then when you’re done, come join us in the OR.”
The CMO focused back on the images and addressed her fellow surgeon, “So, where do we start?”
Jack remained quiet for a few more seconds before speaking up. “Perforated ventricle, pancreas and left kidney. Nicked spleen. The bullets are lodged in the back, near the vertebra,” he pointed out his findings as he spoke and continued, “I’ll go in here and then work my way back.”
Carrie nodded, she might have phrased it a bit differently since she saw all this as a team work, a joint mission if one should revert to military terms, but for now, she did as before – filed it for future reference. “Alright, let’s go then.”
Within a few minutes, they all headed towards the OR to spend the next couple of hours with the task of saving the life of an enemy soldier.

Making note of where the bodies lay, William moved forward to catch up with the rest of SG-4. Up ahead he could hear the sounds of a ongoing gun fight between the SG teams and the Genii. The last report he read placed the average tech level for the Genii at about 50 years behind that of Earth. While engineers in Japan and at DARPA had created some complex robots, they still weren't at the point where the robots could be sent autonomously into combat. However, the Genii could have connections with other races with the ability to create such androids.
He was a bit surprised at Cate’s seeming eagerness to conduct a field autopsy. After giving it some consideration he gave his opinion.
“It’s certainly doable Colonel, but it certainly has the potential to get very messy. As the ranking medical officer on the ground, I recommend against a field autopsy at this time. I can’t guarantee proper protection against any pathogens that might be lurking around. Plus, we have yet to clear the entire complex so conducting an autopsy on dead Genii would delay us from our primary objective.”
With that being said, he joined the rest of SG-4 as they moved further into the complex.

<Dreadnought Med Bay>

"We be needin to have him down here te' do a cross match anyway Carrie, ah'll get Adele onto that as soon as security ken get the man to us." Calmly Ruby got up from her desk, nodding to Carrie that anything and everything was possible to do on the mighty Dread. She then made two calls, one to the ship's Pharmacist Petty Officer Horackova, the second was to the Marine security CO Lieutenant James 'Slim' Pickens to have him arrange for the prisoner to be placed in the ISO, that last objective took all of a few seconds, the bridge beaming him directly from the holding cells. Ruby just caught the white flash from the corner of her eye down the end of the passage from where she sat, a second after that two marines appeared, standing outside the door of the ISO unit.

Adele called back, letting Ruby know she was on her way, then all that was left was for the Scot's lass to change into SCRUBS, then join Carrie and Jack in OR. "Ah'll be there in five." She called, not exactly shouting, but clear enough to be heard throughout med bay.

Major Fred Rivers
Captain Harly Green
1st Lieutenant Charlotte Summers
Company Sergeant Major Gary Carter

SG-12 Somewhere inside the Genii Underground bunker.

Fred had wandered away from his team, Not to far to be out of audio or visual range. His captured shotgun strapped down to his pack once more, and his C8A2 back in his hands. He was counting, Or at least he planed to be counting. But he had noticed something. Six rows of pods, disappearing in to the darkness. At first he had assumed they were frozen. Maybe Genii or the planets previous occupants. But he had started to notice they were identical, each row was of the same man or woman.
"sh*t" He said quietly as he drew the Glock from the chest holster, mostly for ease as he tapped on the glass of the closest pod. No reaction. They wernt waking up any time soon, but he reholstered his weapon and slowly made his was further down the rows of pods, untill he noticed that they were slowly regressing in age, at least, thats what he saw from their appearance. Not by much mind you. But there was clearly some differences with age. He turned as he heard shouting. It was Harly.

"Major. Their clones!"
She called he turned back.
"Yeah. I figured." He said slowly returning to her.
"They seam to have research years of it, decades, I would assume its not all Genii in origin." she began, Fred had a feeling she was about to talk his ear off. So he looked to her a little sternly. Not really something he did to often to his own team.
"Captain. Get all the data you can on to a removable disk. Then find me a way to kill these clones." She looked at him a little stunned.
"Sir?" She asked. Fred wondered if she took issue with the fact that he was suggesting killing people who were technically none combatants. Yet. Nut had it been a Wraith factory or one for Kull Worriers it would be the same order.
"The Genii are building an army down here. And more importantly One that can be fielded in a pretty short time..." he was interrupted by another call this time from Charlotte.

"Sir, These people. They arnt Genii. They are Prisoners." Fred took a moment to sigh as he thought. They couldn't escort prisoners and regroup with the other teams. Well they could, but they didnt know where the other teams were, that increased the chances of the new VIP's being injured or killed. He looked between the two women for a moment. Thinking before finally making a decision.
"Charlotte, Wake them up and get them on their feet. Harly, Same as before." he could see her face contort to say something but he got in there. "I'll push the button. Dont worry but before you destroy the machine. Get a map of this place or find me the closest exit. Understood?" he asked, they both nodded and set about to their new tasks.

<AC401-Legs11>

Feeling greatly relieved, Elle angled her bird upwards knowing in her heart she and the flight wing had done more than what they set out to do. She was still worried though, as too much of this didn't make any sense at all, for yes the Rebel Genii had some serious hatred for Atlantis, but this whole set up felt far beyond their abilities. She was determined to get to the bottom of it.

After receiving clearance to land, Elle wheeled her 401 back to where she started in the central hangar, leaving it for the maintenance crews. She stood nearby, her arms behind her back waiting for Jack and AJ to arrive. They needed to talk.

<Below ground Bunker>

Once the last of the nearest enemy had been dealt with, Cate and SG4 found a clearway to go forward. Down really. With her in the lead using her radiation counter guide them, they went at least four levels down before following the signal in a straight line. They were still above the lowest levels, that much was obvious because there was a deep drop over the side of the elevated walkway they were using. She tried to ignore the radio chatter, her mind focused on the task at hand.

After what might have been a good ten minutes hike, Cate pulled up short when she came to the end of the walkway. From that point there was a single stairway going up to a door in what looked like a a sheer vertical wall. She looked across to her left, in the gloom she could make out a sliding blast door going from the very bottom straight up to the top, at least 200 feet high. She whistled through her teeth. "I suppose it'd be a stupid question for us to guess what is behind door number one?" She pressed onwards, climbing the stair to the door above them. Once there she found it opened easily, then she was totally taken aback by the sight she saw on the other side of that blast door. A rocket, in a similar vein to the intercontinental rockets back home, only bigger. Standing vertically with the typical steam coming from pockets here and there. It was being readied for launch.

The last Genii fell under the crossfire of the two teams. Michelle was still a bit shaken from her near death experience, but it hadn't been the first time. Nor would it be the last. Taking a breath, she flipped the spent magazine out of her rifle with a flick of her right wrist, while her left was pulling a fresh one from her webbing. She approached Sheppard and his team as she slapped it home and then thumbed the bolt release.

"Everyone still alright?" Sheppard asked, changing magazines as well.

"Sir, they got something that shot clean through friggin' concrete. Damn near took Gambler's head off." Voodoo said.

"I'm good to go, sir. I survived Ramadi, I'll be fine." Michelle replied. Sheppard approached one of the fallen Genii and collected their weapon, slinging it over his back.

"We'll have someone look over these weapons then. But we got a job to finish. Looks like that's the way we need to go." Sheppard said, pointing to a sealed blast door.

"Check. Mako, stack up. Ice, we might need to crash this one too." Michelle said.

"I got somethin' for them, too." Deuce said, switching to his M32 grenade launcher. He folded the weapon open and fed in buckshot rounds, turning the launcher into an oversized shotgun.

"Alright. Ice, you're third. Deuce, point, I'm right behind you." Michelle said as they lined up. But as Deuce set up next to the door, the control panel next to the door chimed and lit up green. The door then began to open.

"What'd you do?" Sheppard asked. Deuce just replied with a "I dunno" look. The door finished opening into a poorly lit room, with a single Genii officer standing there as Mako swept into the room. He was unarmed but standing in front of the team.

"HANDS! PUT 'EM UP!" Deuce shouted.

"HANDS HANDS HANDS! SHOW ME YOUR FRIGGIN' HANDS!" Michelle added. The officer slowly held out his hands. His attention, however, was on Sheppard.

"John Sheppard. The murderer of our leader. Your day of reckoning has come." The officer said with a sneer.

"Lieutenant, take this man into custody." Sheppard said.

"Aye, sir. Voodoo, Midas. Get him ready for transport." Michelle said. Voodoo quickly moved to shove the man down while Midas zip-cuffed him.

The lights then began to click on around them in the room, and revealed it to be a large concrete dome structure. And in the center was a giant brain inside of a tank.

"...what the hell?" Voodoo said.

"...sir, what in the blue hell is that?" Michelle asked, starting to step closer towards it, even going so far as to raise her 416 at it.

"That's...new." Sheppard said, as if he had to find a word to use to describe the situation. The pieces were starting to come together, but there was still something missing from it all as to what this all was leading to.

"That is a glimpse into the future, a future you cannot hope to stop. You areAHHHHH!" The man shouted after Voodoo stomped on his hand to stop his rant.

"Bag and gag him, Voodoo." Michelle said, still sounding dumbstruck in the face of what they were looking at.

"Gladly." Voodoo replied, pulling out some tape to secure over the man's mouth and then Midas pulled out a black fabric hood to pull over the man's head.

"Guess this explains a bit about where these guys got their tech so quickly. Now we just..." Sheppard was cut off with the sounds of alarms going off. The brain tank was bubbling heavily.

"FINAL CHECKS COMPLETE, INITIATE COUNT DOWN. T-MINUS EIGHT MINUTES UNTIL LAUNCH. INTRUDERS DETECTED IN INNER SANCTUM. SELF DESTRUCT SEQUENCE INITIATED. TEN MINUTES UNTIL SELF DESTRUCT." A monotone voice called out over the PA system.

"Ice, Deuce, frag this thing. Midas, get our prisoner up and moving. Voodoo, Trigger, take point." Michelle ordered, already spinning around.

"Follow me! Move!" Sheppard called out to everyone. Ice and Deuce leveled their weapons on the brain tank and opened fire, shredding it with shot fire. The tank and brain were both completely destroyed. Midas hauled the prisoner to his feet, drawing his P226R to remain armed while moving the prisoner. Sheppard led the way back to the elevator that he and his team had come down on.

"Sierra Golf Four, Sierra Golf One-Two. Get out of the bunker, now. I say again, get out of the bunker now. My team and Mako are falling back now." Sheppard ordered.

Jack wasted no time getting out of his Wildcat as soon as the deckhands brought up the ladder. By the time he was on his way towards Elle, AJ and Jason joined him.

"I friggin' hate being gunner on these ops. Sure it makes for cool video games or YouTube footage, but it ain't for me." Jason commented with a scowl, before putting a hand on Jack's shoulder, "Who was it?"

"Howler. Captain Ian Howell, US Air Force. Came from F-22s out of Elmendorf." Jack said, shaking his head. He was frustrated, but everyone here knew the risks that came with the job. It didn't make it better that he was going to have to send home a letter saying that Howler died in a training accident, the truth would remain unknown.

"It's the lying to the grieving families I hate the most." Jack added.

"I know, hon." AJ replied.

"Y'know, how the hell is this outfit not public yet? Social media should have outed this place, and I've heard scuttlebutt saying we've got more troops offworld than we have in the sandbox. How's that work?" Jason scowled. They approached the Captain.

"Alright, Skipper, what's our next play? Wait for the ground teams to finish and get back to what we set out to accomplish originally?" Jack asked.

<Bunker>

They were still heading toward their next objectives while shooting down the Genii Rebels. Ronon did his best at keeping them down and off his team's back while providing cover fire. Rodney kept himself as close to Tama as possible, even after she said something about not letting him die and her flashing her teeth. Rodney shuddered but was glad for her to be on their side.

"I tell people not to go and sometimes they don't listen. They just keep on going and I'm forced to follow them." Rodney muttered silently to himself as they entered the corner and into a room. He was following the signs on his detector device thingie. He stopped on his tracks when he saw the last officer in the room. However, his device was beeping intermittently giving him something else.

"Sheppard..." he muttered trying to investigate his readings.

Ronon came up from behind and pointed his magnum on the last Genii but relaxed his trigger finger. He felt some kind of a moment coming on. Suddenly, the light came on and he groaned covering his eyes. The Satedean wasn't ready for that one. The lights cleared and he saw the large brain thing. The man steadied his weapon but he was speechless feeling that he wasn't ready for that one.

Rodney rubbed his eyes and muttered while scanning the brain. Before he could say something, alarms started to blare. Something about self destruct woke him up and he groaned closing his eyes even after Sheppard ordered a complete retreat. He muttered stretching his legs for a bit, "Oh, yay. More running..."

Ronon shouted as he turned, not wanting to question Sheppard's order, "On it! Get going, Rodney."

Rodeny turned to follow his team and muttered while keeping the two main thoughts alive on his mind. A large sandwich and a large couch. That is of course if they survive this...

Major Fred Rivers
Captain Harly Green
1st Lieutenant Charlotte Summers
Company Sergeant Major Gary Carter

SG-12 Somewhere inside the Genii Underground bunker.

Fred was contemplating his idea. The one to kill these clones. He could justify it, he thought. But then again he was unsure, maybe there were alternatives to killing, he was just looking for the quickest and most efficient way to deal with the problem in front of him, right then he wished Sheppard was around to ask, Had this been a milky way bad guy he would have made the decision and been done, but this was Sheppard's turf, and he had to deal with the consequences. As he was in deep thought he noticed the lights dim as he looked up and then an alarm sounded and an orange light flashed on the ceiling.

"MAJOR!" Called Harly from the control room, and Fred quickly bounded up to her.
"Captain... Please tell me you know how to turn the Alarm off?" He asked her.
"I cant sir. Its a self destruct, Set to go off in nine and a half minuets." Fred sighed.
"Bullocks. Okay, Have you got the Data on the clones?" He asked. She nodded holding up a devise that looked to be a weird hybrid of Wraith and Steam Punk technology. The Genii were like the Goa'uld, with out the elegance when it came to stealing other peoples tech.
"And the map?" She shook her head.
"No Map sir, but from what I understand if we follow the rails we will find a service lift to the surface." Fred nodded. Though he wondered how close that was. He decided to go with it.
"Okay." He nodded. "pack up and be ready to move out. Hopfully the dread is still around." He said, they were still to deep for radio contact. He then turned to head to Charlotte as he got to the door Harly stood.
"Sir what about the Clones, your orders?" He looked to her, an apologetic expression on his face.
"Their dead anyway Harl... Leave it."

Fred thudded down the stairs and in to the small isolation room. There was a young-ish woman awake sitting up in her bed she looked to be towards her late twenties, the same age as Harly. She looked a little frail. Like somebody that had been stuck in a hospital bed for ages. She probably had been.
"Whats going on sir?" Asked Charlotte. Fred looked to her.
"Self Destruct. We Are Leaving." He said looking to her. Then to the Patient. "Who's this?" He asked. Charlotte shrugged.
"I dont know, she cant speak. I dont think she has spoken in a while, I think some of the drugs the Genii were feeding her are preventing her from doing so." Fred looked to her.
"Do you like the Genii?" He asked her, the woman went to speak, but nothing happened so she shook her head. Fred nodded as he removed the shotgun from his back pack, one of the straps forming a make shift sling as he offered it to her.
"We'll get you out of her. Just head up the stairs, just shoot any Genii bastard that gets in our way." She nodded taking the weapon. She clearly knew how to use it. And she slowly took a few steps, getting her footing back as she made her way up the stairs, Fred called out.
"Gary. One Friendly, Coming up."
"Got it."

He looked to Charlotte.
"The others?" he asked. She shrugged.
"I dont know. I did a scan, her brainwaves were the highest by almost seventy percent. Even if I unplugged the others from whats keeping them unconscious. it could take them hours to wake up." Fred sighed a little. This day was giving him more and more moral questions he wasnt fond of writing up later but he had to make a decision, thankfully with the door closed the little room he was in only had the echo of the alarm from outside, so he could actully think.
"We have to go Charlotte. We cant wait for them to wake up and we cant carry them and move quick enough." She nodded slowly as she left.

Fred sighed as he checked his rifle and the rest of his gear one last time. Before he grabbed any bit of documentation he could find, shoving it in to his admin pouch he turned and bounded up the stairs to join the others. The Stranger stood in the middle.
"We're taking her with us?" Asked Gary Fred nodded.
"Yeah. She should have information for Atlantis." he took a moment before turning to Harly.
"Got everything Captain?" She nodded as she stood.
"Yeah. Everything." Fred nodded.
"Good, Okay, We move, quickly, follow the tracks, they should lead to an exit. First one out, call the dread for an immediate beam out."
"Got it sir." Said Charlotte and their guest just nodded.
"I'm on point." Added Gary as he once more swapped his rifle for his shotgun. "What way out the door?"
"Immediate right, then follow the tracks." Said Harly. Finally they all took a breath, and waited a few moments as the computer screen clocked to 8 minuets Fred shouted.
"Go Go Go." And the team burst from the room going at a fast run, but not sprinting, checking their corners to make sure nobody hit them in the back.

The amount of the hostiles on this mission thrown against SG-4 was starting to get ridiculos and approach a silly Call of Duty level of the one-man-army holding their ground against a whole army front. Well, so it seemed. And then there was the nuke. And before Elena could get sarcastic and cynic as usual, the alarms and self-destruct warning went off.

"Change of plans, we motor outta here..." Ovcharenko tapped into her radio. "Dreadnaught, this is SG-4, get us out of here like NOW, this whole place is going to grow shrooms!!!"

But there was no responce. At all. Just a bit of static.

"Orbit, this is Ovcahrenko, beaming out requested!"

Nothing.

"Congratulations. No comms with the ship. We're screwed. Time to panic. You can start. Right now."

The stress just burst the critical level and with the last bit of sarcasm out of her system, the redhead became quite pale, her eyes frantically looking around for an answer to their problems.

Bickering with an admin is like fighting a dragon. You gave him a good kick, poked his eye with your sword and already are aiming to cut his throat open, when the dragon gets tired and finally breathes out.

Flynn didn't like those words at all.  She stepped over to Cate and knelt down.  "This we can do some bypassing and at least but ourselves some time?" She asked, not liking Lena's words.  She didn't survive the Borg to die here.

"Not right now, Rodney!" Sheppard said as they boarded the lift. It was a tight squeeze for both teams but they were soon heading upwards.

"Dreadnought, this is Sheppard, we need an emergency beam-out, now. Get everyone out." Sheppard said into his radio, but only got static. He looked to Michelle.

"Dreadnought, Mako Actual. Requesting emergency beam-out, how copy?" Michelle tried, but also got static. "Sir, I don't get it, Ice just had a care package beamed in like five minutes ago." Michelle said.

"Yeah, I don't get it either. We'll have to keep huffing it. Tama, take point and get us a way out of here. Rodney, if you're not too busy, try to figure out what's going on with our comms." Sheppard replied, just as the elevator doors opened, giving everyone a chance to get out back into steel and concrete halls once more.
