Life is a dream — that knows no shade.
Life is a dream — of pain and woe.
A dream from which — we pray to wake.
A dream from which — we wake and go

It is now September 27th, 2011, 0500 AM US Central Standard

GM Post - Attn: All Players:
The war with the Vanir was well underway, and for the Atlantis Expedition, it was leading to roads of uncertainty and confusion. Investigation of attack sites was generating only fewer answers than expected and an image of an enemy that was relentless in its mission to depopulate the Pegasus Galaxy.

Inroads with old allies were made, with Todd's Wraith, with Larrin and the Travelers, and even the El'Dari, but still, nothing concrete was on the table for a plan. Richard Woolsey would have to convene a sort of war council, bring together his best and brightest with the allies of the Expedition to work this out. There was far too much uncertainty and fear, a plan and a roadmap would go a long way to dealing with these concerns, if there could be a plan to be drawn up. Major Lorne and AR-2 had found intel at the Vanir's base of operation, and the science team was hard at work trying to crack what they could of it. But what little they had was painting a terribly dark picture.

In the meantime, something had to be done. Billions were being slaughtered and the only ones who could act, Atlantis, were sitting on their hands, worried over some sensor blips several million miles away. This was a point that John Sheppard was not about to abide any longer. The UNS Dreadnought and UNS Okinawa would be back in action, as would the AR Teams and Task Force Mako. New and veteran personnel alike were about to be tested by an enemy who was the dark mirror of the very race who had given humanity the very edges they enjoyed today...
