Macabre discoveries

Rashaken's ha'tak moved into the orbit of the planet and positioned itself above the goa'uld outpost, right on the coordinates of the surface conveyor ring. Rashaken had remained aboard the ha'tak ship, while Jah'makor and Jandir himself, along with three other Horus Guards, a group of five warriors, equipped with the best analytical and military technologies, descended on the planet. They did not know what to expect. When the ring rematerialized them on the surface of the planet, they realized that the outpost goa'uld had been abandoned in haste. The great golden pyramid stood out in the center of the settlement while all around, various industries and a shipyard completed the set. Jah'makor broke away from the group, beckoning those present to split up. They had not brought the Ma'tok auctions, but only the zat's, simpler and more manageable to get in and out anywhere and in any situation. It was Jah'makor who wanted to enter the great golden pyramid while Jandir headed for the shipyard and the rest of the team, to the mines, refining centers and the populated part of the planet.

Pyramid Goa'uld

Jah'makor we see him walking cautiously inside the structure, the walls are golden as in the best technology and architecture goa'uld, the doorways and corridors seem those of the station Hasara, the lighting also, but strangely there is no guard jaffa, not a human servant, nothing at all. Only the crackling of some braziers as the jaffà gets in over the pyramid. soon he reaches the throne room, where it seems that the goa'uld and his entourage have just left the pyramid. The braziers crackle with their golden flames, a long cloth descends behind the throne, the latter identical to that of the outpost goa'uld in which the tok'ra Zarin was infiltrated. no goa'uld symbol above the throne / seat / stool. No trace of the sarcophagus that should not be very far away, perhaps in one of the side rooms still not patrolled. The jaffa, after making sure there were no dangers, left the hall, retracing one of the side corridors and entering the sarcophagus room of Aken. The sarcophagus itself must have been placed in the center of the room above a black base bordered in gold. but no trace of the sarcophagus. In silence, the jaffa examined the great hall. Aken had taken everything away, perhaps on board his ship or through the stargate, he had no certainty. The pyramid seemed completely deserted, almost abandoned.

Shipyards Goa'uld

Jandir had chosen to investigate the shipyards that could be seen from a distance. Light smoke rose up as a large wheel glimpsed because of the great distance. Almost at the edge of the forest, the jaffa took a moment before reaching its destination and only when it came before the immense bulk of the dry dock, including the power of what was put in place by the same goa'uld that they were giving the hunting. The dry dock was before him, as huge as a ha'tak, although in reality much larger and if we want more complex in its simplicity. What looked like the skeleton at the early stages of a ha'tak, was suspended above his head. He could imagine the different phases of his construction, of the final result, but that anyway was just a skeleton of the ship. Aken wanted to re-emerge from the oblivion in which the Gods had fallen and to do so he had to show his strength as well as his rank of divinity. but what Jandir did not expect to see, it happened a few moments later. Several dozens of yards away from the shipyard, a giant communal pit opened under his feet. Hundreds of bodies without life, the workers or better the prisoners used as laborers of the yard, had been killed and thrown into that common grave as if they were garbage. A sense of horror and repugnance, many of the bodies had begun to decompose evidently. The empty eyes, the pale, purple and brown color of some, the unimaginable stench, here is the end of at least part of the forced laborers of the shipyard, a sad and macabre fate at the same time.

Jandir did not want to believe it, but Aken had given yet another proof of the brutality of the goa'uld race. The jaffa remained silent until a slight noise made him turn. kel'dar appeared behind him.

"He slaughtered them as meat for slaughter, we must stop this evil God, assure him of the divine justice of Khnum so that these acts never happen again!" Jandir exclaimed to his companion, but the latter replied dryly.

"Aken did what many gods would do in normal times, even Khnum many centuries ago he was doing this way, certainly his method of punishing prisoners has changed, but he is always a goa'uld, but we can do it. .. when we return in the presence of our lord, we will report and he will praise the souls of these unfortunates rehabilitating them completely, they will have a dignified burial ... more than this we can not make my friend! " Jah'makor concluded placing his hand on the shoulder of his comrade-in-arms.

Teleda orbit
Rashaken Ha'tak, Pel'tak

The team returned to the conveyor ring and then directly aboard the ha'tak orbiting the planet. The jaffas of the team certainly would not have reported personal matters, holding them on their own, but Jandir was rather puzzled by what he had seen on the surface of the planet. Well it did not show its involvement, the jaffa seemed much more shaken than normal. But to speak was Jah'makor, calmer despite the gruesome spectacle. Rashaken was in the pel'tak of the ship sitting on the low golden throne, similar in some ways to the one on the Khnum ship. Rashaken's face was definitely more serious than usual, a sign that something had already guessed.

"Commander Rashaken, the structures on the planet have been abandoned but they can be put back into operation easily, the population is definitely in the dark about the destination of Aken, but what we found anyway, showed us the brutality of Aken, a mass grave with probably almost a hundred corpses of prisoners including many jaffas, many of them came from the former armies of Cronus! " concluded Jah'makor waiting for Rashaken to reply, which did not wait too long.

"I suspected such a thing, I will warn Lord Khnum of the situation, you can return to your camp beds and rest, for the time being the orders are to hold the position from any attempts at annexation by other minor goa'uld, since the planet has what is necessary to start the creation of an empire! "concluded the First Prime by firing the two jaffas together with the rest of the exploration team. Only when everyone had come out of the pel'tak, First Prime, who remained in the company of himself and only two Horus Guards, sent a direct signal to the planet Khenem. It did not take long before Khnum responded to the signal by opening a video and audio communication.

"My lord ... the planet has been completely abandoned by the forces of Aken, we have the confirmation also of mass executions among the prisoners, at least one mass grave is not far from the pyramid of command, the members of the team have remained rather upset by this show and I sent them back to rest waiting for new orders! " Rashaken concluded waiting for the reply of the same System Lord.

"Lord Aken is not used to these slaughters, they are his method to get rid of any future problem, he eradicates it definitively at the cost of wiping out entire civilizations, however remaining in the orbit of the planet, I will soon send new ha'taks to support waiting to trace the most suitable goa'uld to make it my new vassal! " concluded the System Lord closing the channel before there could be any doubts from Rashaken. The First Prime remained silent after the viewer closed in front of him.

Teleda orbit
Rashaken Ha'tak, Pel'tak

"We remain in the orbit of the planet my Lord .... or prefers that we permanently occupy the settlement and directly submit the population of the planet, in the nearby settlement!" Rashaken asked in turn, looking at the image of Khnum disappearing before the question could be answered. The jaffa remained silent for a moment before one of his men and in this case Jandir spoke to him.

"We will execute what was ordered by the God Khnum my commander, but I think it is appropriate to continue the exploration of the settlement of Aken to find out more information, after all I do not think he has abandoned a promising planet in such a short time without abandoning something important!" Jandir ended up looking at his commander in the face.

"Exact Jandir, form more teams and get off the surface of the planet, I want to know more about the planet, its population and the resources we will draw from in the future, I think Khnum is sending one of his young sons to rule as a vassal state, this planet ... "

"After all it is our task to make sure the planets so that the Gods can once again rule on each of these planets!" Rashaken concluded, looking away from his subordinate and taking himself to the ship's controls. Jandir, on the other hand, nodded as he stepped out of the ship's peltak, heading for new squads to sift better not just the goa'uld outpost, but to find and eventually subdue the nearby human town. Rashaken knew very well that there was a very simple motive if Khnum had not yet ordered him to return to the planet Khenem, something had happened so clearly, and such information could have caused some further complication in System Lord himself. Elsewhere Jandir had completed the selection of teams and had dropped back to the planet along with about thirty Horus Guards. The exploration of the pyramid was the first of the stages to be completed. That place seemed abandoned a few minutes. Jandir led the team through every single corridor, arriving in every room, room, in each of it there was no human trace. Only clothes typically tau'rì, goa'uld armament missing including empty racks, no jaffa armor. This sign not only worried the jaffa, something was out of the box goa'uld. But the sensor detectors only indicated the presence of the teams inside the pyramid, not of other jaffa or human warriors. At the same time, Rashaken observed the surveys from the surface, indeed the planet was a place of great importance for the large amount of naquadah present on the entire surface of the planet.

1 hour later

On the sensors appears a mysterious signal indicating the arrival of a fleet and the same Rashaken caught by surprise because it certainly could not be the fleet that Khnum had said an hour before he had sent. From the solar system in which Teleda and the planet Khenem was placed, it would take many more hours even at top speed.

Immediately raise the shields and maximum power to the weapons, whoever is coming will taste the strength of the ha'tak of the God Khnum! "Exclaimed the First Prime, partly aware of having to potentially start a clash in a clear minoraza, and at the same time, excited to It was not a battle on the battlefield of a planet, but the hahnuts of Khnum were able to rival even the most powerful asgard spaceships or theoretically so it was. he made two ha'taks appear, then two more, and then a third, all five arranged in line in front of Rashaken's and it did not take long before a signal of communication reached the visor of Rashaken's ship.

"Commander are calling us!" exclaimed Jandir turning to his First Prime, sitting on the low throne on a raised platform. With a wave of his hand, Rashaken allowed Jandir to open the video. On the screen appeared the image of a man in his fifties, dressed as an ancient Egyptian, shaved hair on the man's face, a large golden collar resting on a completely white robe, all around an atmosphere that in some ways recalled that of Ra's flagship. The goa'uld's face was completely serious, hard and decisive and only then did Rashaken realize there would be a battle.

Teleda orbit
Rashaken Ha'tak, Pel'tak

The fleet that had just come, certainly was not part of what Khnum should have sent. As fast and up-to-date, the System Lord Khnum ha'taks certainly could not come as fast as the ships had come. in question. Five ha'taks were placed in line next to each other waiting for a communication from the main ship to arrive on the pel'tak of the Rashaken ship. First Prime waited for the communication signal to arrive, meanwhile, shields and weapons had been lifted and the ha'tak was ready to sell off the skin for not being captured. A signal came clear and distinct and only with a gesture of his right hand, First Prime gave Jandir orders to open the video channel with the ship calling them. As much as he tried to show security and bravado, First Prime really feared a new exclamation of violence. A black outline barely illuminated on a black background appeared on the visor, and then it turned out to be that of a jaffa with marked, massive features.

"First Prime of Khnum, surrender and deliver me the ship and you will have mercy from the God Gemenefherbak, fight and you will be destroyed immediately, Teleda will not be part of the territories of Khnum as ordered by my lord, prepare to receive my warriors!" ended the enemy warrior closing the communication. Rashaken remained silent for a moment before Jandir saw the contact of the ring, conforming to pass the goa'uld shield.

"Commander, the bundle of matter could cross our shields, this significe that have indications on how often our shields are emitted!" he exclaimed in horror, seeing how the values changed to readjust each time he operated to block them. Only after hearing these words, Rashaken rose from the golden throne and pulled the zat's out of the bracelet.

"This ship belongs to Lord Khnum and I will not let anyone get on board without authorization, we will sell the skin dear and as far as Gemenefherbak is concerned ... we'll see if I do not take his head like a helmet!" he concluded, showing a smile that few knew.

"In the meantime, activate the engines to leap into hyperspace, if we do not have further problems, abandon the orbit of Teleda as soon as possible and it is better than Khnum's wrath that the dishonor of being defeated and humiliated ... we will abandon Teleda at the moment appropriate, first I think it is necessary to send a clear message to that insipid goa'uld, who had the audacity to try such a foolish enterprise! " he completed by passing next to Jandir, and then heading for the conveyor rings. It did not take long before the first convoy of enemy jaffas arrived, and immediately the trap was closed, targeting the enemy jaffas. The latter fell almost in place and immediately after a second and third wave of enemies came, ending up riddled by the shots fired by Rashaken and his warriors. But the fourth wave killed many of the jaffas following the First Prime of Khnum, forcing Rashaken to retreat a few meters to find a sufficiently safe defensive line, from which to eliminate the continuous waves that continued to come. Suddenly, however, the landings ceased and a sinister noise, almost a vibration, ran through the ship. After two rather strong shots on the ship's shield, they made it clear that the attack by the enemy ships had begun. Dozens of jolts indicate battle in progress, as well as the noise of the goa'uld cannons, so typical. Then the unexpected silence. Dozens of Horus Guards aimed their weapons at two survivors who seemed unwilling to give up.

"Surrender and you will be spared!" Rashaken ordered them, but in response, one of them pierced his throat with a knife pulled from his belt while the latter was hit by a zat's discharge. Only when the jaffa fell back unconscious, Rashaken approached cautiously. His pleased look.

"Take him to his cell, be stripped and beaten, a scan of his full body for security, we will question him in toital security on the planet Khenem or better still in the prisons of the moon Zebib!" he completed the First Prime by observing his unconscious prisoner before him.

Go  to  Khenem ...

Teleda planet
2 years later
Cashac ha'tak

Years after the events that took place aboard the first attempted goa'uld invasion of the planet, a second wave had meanwhile been prepared. But mindful of what happened previously, this time Rashaken had no order to conquer the planet, but to study the industrial structures that were slowly rotting and crumbling on the planet's surface. After that past expedition, the planet had fallen into absolute apathy. It had not been repopulated by express wish of Khnum himself. But now the times would have changed. From the orbit Cashac observed the area where the settlement stood, not far from a chain of mountains in which minor materials for goa'uld technology were present as well as some strands of naquadah although of a less valuable quality than that present on the moons and in the Khenem asteroid belt. After the mission in the settlement of Gebel Dosha, the reputation of Cashac had increased and the third First prime, had become responsible for the explorations of the galaxy. With him a team chosen from among the men and women taken from the planet Bubastis Minor including Makad and Jeshir. The latter had been happy to abandon those sandy and desert lands so much since and after the end of the mission in the mines of Nezanat, to see the open space and reside aboard a ha'tak, was almost liberating.

"Commander Cashac we do not detect any source of energy from the planet, no emission even minimal, any technology present on the planet is completely inert or turned off!" Makad exclaimed showing the scan data on the triangular holographic screen.

"We should still descend on the planet's surface to be able to personally assure ourselves ..." but before continuing the sentence the jaffà was stopped by the same Cashac who immediately replied in turn.

"Teleda is an abandoned outpost, the forest is covering all the ruins, this gives a decadent and almost romantic atmosphere to the planet itself ... it would be a shame to break this peaceful peace ... but I think it is the case to send a team anyway of exploration through the transporter ring of the pyramid, locate the pyramid and wait for the team to be ready for landing on the surface! " he completed The First Prime by looking at Makad in the eyes.

"Do you intend to send a team of only Ram Guards or a mixture of jaffà?" Asked the commander's jaffà almost amused at having to reply to Cashac's words.

"We will send a team of Ram Guards to the commands of the same Jeshir, I guess you'd like to participate, but I don't think that's the case. Don't you think so, too, Makad?" Cashac replied sarcastically as the scene moves out to show us the planet.
