<Flynn SG4>

Flynn accepted Cate's help up.  She had a lot of questions about the Wraith now, but first she just wanted to get off this ship.  She quietly grabbed her own boots, still feeling a bit shaky.  They hadn't been hurt thankfully but she was still jumpy.  Her eyes widened when she heard Cate's threat.  Could her friend really stand up to this race? She hoped so.

This whole mission didn't make a lot of sense to the Airman. They arrived at Atlantis to assist with a search and rescue mission, that soon turned into infiltrating a Genii nuclear missile silo. That involved fighting a bunch of clones, or possibly androids, and ultimately blowing up the entire planet. No sooner had SG-4 returned to the Dreadnought when they were tasked with rescuing another team held captive on a Wraith vessel. Turned out the whole thing turned out to be some sort of a ruse on behalf of the Wraith.

Their subsequent release by the Wraith seemed a bit too obvious to Troy, but he had little say in the matter. He was told by both Colonel's to grab his boots and return to the puddle jumper, so that's what he was going to do.

As they reached the craft, he tried to lessen the mood.

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

Elena let Sheppard do the talking. They were of the same rank with him, yet the man had countless more run ins with the Wraith than she had, and certainly had a few ideas how to properly deal with them. That, and the fact that the woman was most likely to resort to completely non-constructive obscene lexicon in a situation like this, what would not help the case at all, made her sit it out, just exchanging glance with one or another from all the teams sitting captured here. But upon hearing her name mentioned, the redhead lifted her head to lock her eyes burning with the fury and hatred that only an insulted Russian could produce.

"Oh, be not afraid, I will inform everyone that has to be informed of everything that was said and occured here. Trust me in that I won't leave a single word out. You've created way more trouble for yourself than any positive outcome you could have ever hoped to gain, you inbred twat..."

The last few words were mumbled under the breath as Ovcharenko was pulling her footwear back on, listening to Fred being a twit as well.

"Why, why... Because they know that if we get our stuff back right now, then their hides are not worth a broken penny, Fred, that's why..."

Not wanting to waste any more time in the place so awfully helpless, Colonel marched off after Cate toward their boarding craft, spitting curse after a curse, completely not caring who hears her go so unladylike.

"Seriously, Will, you are in the mood for some anal probing right now? Jeez, I had a feeling you were kinky, but this is even worse than me..."

Leaving his position covering Flynn and Michelle, Ronon quickly approached John's side. After hearing what Rhiase said, he quietly growled and shook his head. Not trusting a word of what she said, he quietly spoke to his commander, "Sheppard. I don't like this. I should be going with you."

He wouldn't dream of arguing as it was pointless with John Sheppard. However, he could at least cover his side and just find his chance to shoot her if she betrays them again. He's fought Wraith long enough to know they are not honorable and untrue to their word.

To that end, whatever Sheppard says, Ronon will follow.

Rodney looked at Tama and murmured slightly. Upon hearing they were being released, he shrugged and whispered to her "We should go. We can talk later if you want?"

Turning to Charlotte and Gary, he responded answering their thoughts about who has the gene, "Hey! I can fly the jumper too."

Looking at Cate, he mumbled with his question and the puppy dog eyes, "Can I?"

<Cate SG4>

 Eyes full ahead and well she should be, the anger Cate was directing towards the Wraith, all Wraith including the Drones was something to make you step aside. Only Lena and to a small extent Fred knew exactly what she was capable and it certainly wasn't a pretty picture one might conjure up in the mind. To the newbs on the team William and Flynn it certainly might find her ability for brutality somewhat surprising, her pursuit for vengeance was unwavering once she had set it in her mind.

 Yet there was something missing here she mused as they all made their way to the Jumper. Something was off. Why would this half breed care so much about anything, let alone a race which Cate knew shunned her as much as humans did. Three years ago Cate had heard how even some Wraith had placed a price on her head, Todd as far as she knew barely tolerated her. So what was going on? Rhiase could as easily leave Pegasus on her own, no one would miss her. Something else was at stake here. "Sorry Rodney, maybe next time, we're in a hurry." Not that she didn't trust the man, she did. But as she said they were in the need for speed.

 Almost ten minutes later they reached the Jumper, Cate was taken aback at just how big this Wraith ship was. A minute after arriving she settled into the pilots seat, letting everyone find their own place.

                                                     *************

<Bridge>

 Something like ten minutes had passed since they left the cells, weaving through the multi layers of the ship Rhiase soon had both Sheppard and Jason on the bridge. She had completely ignored the comments from the humans as she left, it was of no consequence to her what they thought. But she did feel Sheppard at least had a right to know some things, when the time was right. At this moment she was focused on what needed to be done. At the control console she moved a crystal forward that brought up a large screen in front of them. Moving another crystal opened up a hailing channel to the Dreadnought, she turned to John. "You may call Captain McFearson now, the image will appear oh her end as soon as you speak. And please Colonel, I think now we can go beyond the angst, there is far more at stake here than what you may even realize." That would come shortly, she had nothing to hide now.

<UNS Dreadnought - Sick Bay>

"You're the Doc, Doc. Besides, it's not the first time my flight status got pulled on this cruise." The Marine pilot quipped.

"I'll, ah, have to be out of that process, Doctor. I'm her immediate superior as well, and that creates a conflict of interest. I think that has to go to the skipper and XO in lieu of me." Jack replied, glancing at AJ with a raised eyebrow. Adrianna shrugged, not wanting to get any further into the matter with someone who was a neutral party in the situation.

"Point being, you do what you gotta do. Pulling Gs with a headache like this is just asking to fill a few barf bags." AJ said, leaning back against her pillows.

< Dreadnaught, Med bay -> Bridge >

Letting out a small sigh of relief of having to deal with a sensible person for a change, Carrie shook her head, but smiled, “No, throwing up in the rooster pit doesn’t really make you popular among the deck crew. Anyway. I’ll have the report sent to the proper channels later on tonight and since you’re on my watch list during the night – we’ll be seeing more of each other later on. Until then."
She gave them both a nod and a smile and then headed off towards her – correction, *his, office. She had only borrowed it for a while.

Unplugging her laptop from the docking station, Carrie closed the lid of it and headed out of the Med bay, taking course towards the bridge.

The man she’d helped earlier with the dislocated shoulder, had been surprisingly resilient and still sat in his chair, so even though meeting Elle to discuss Adele’s DNA analysis, she made a small detour. Tapping the man on his uninjured shoulder, Carrie said in a low voice. “If you’re not out of here by the time I’m done talking to the Captain, I will relive you of duty and have an SF escort you to the med bay. Understood?”
The man turned to face her, sort of measuring the seriousness in her tone, but Carrie didn’t move an inch, ‘Dealt with USAir Force for almost 20 years now, so just try me! I dare you’ was her thought during the two seconds their eyes met before the man sighed and gave her a small, silent nod.
“Good! See you later then,” she replied in a much softer tone and walked to Elle.
“5 minutes in your office, Captain?”

<Bridge>

"Angst? Oh get bent, Cellar Witch. Listen, you weren't exactly Henry Kissinger, alright. You hid your presence during the battle, you abducted one of our teams, and then you don't bother calling, you just waited for us to come in before then taking us prisoner." Jason said, "So, for the love of God, drop the friggin' omnipotent act already. You're the sort of person who would kick a hornet's nest and then get mad that the hornets had the audacity to sting you."

"Eh, he does have a point. Your sales pitch needs work, you could've done a lot better than this." Sheppard said, and then put a hand on Jason's shoulder, "You're up, Master Chief."

"Yeah. If I wasn't so close to retirement, I'd ask Elle to shove a nuke up Princess' backside here." Jason grumbled before stepping in front of the display, "Ahem, testing one two, testing. Dreadnought, this is Axe Man. Axe Man calling Dreadnought. We're on board the Wraith vessel under the command of a rather hoity-toity arrogant Cellar Witch calling herself Rhiase. I need to speak directly with the Skipper, regarding vital information both towards our primary objective and the Pegasus Galaxy on the whole. Over." Jason said.

"I'll throw you a bone." Sheppard said quietly to Rhiase, so Jason and Elle wouldn't hear, "He's basically the Captain's right hand man, and pissing him off any more might cause him to suggest to her that you're better off dead, which she'll more than likely agree with. So, if you want this alliance to go anywhere other than Hell, stop pushing his buttons. You two already don't like each other, but I've heard he can hold a grudge." He actually didn't know much about the Master Chief, this had been the most the two had interacted, but he had a couple of facts to form a working bluff from. One; he knew that both Elle and Jason seemed to have the same relationship as any CO and the senior most NCO, so the old guy likely had her ear in any decision making process. Two; from his attitude so far, it did seem like Jason was the kind of guy to hold a grudge.

For the moment, Sheppard was probably the only one keeping the salty old sailor from getting them all killed, and it was probably the worst position he could be in right now...

"Colonel's right, we get our gear back, and they know we'll turn right back around and burn this place to the ground and salt the friggin ashes." Michelle said with a scowl as they boarded the Jumper. Her demeanor had shifted completely from since they first headed off on this op in the first place. Her gaze was harder, her expression as well. And as Trigger would have noticed, she didn't make a joke, despite there being some rather choice ones to be made just from what the Russian Colonel said. When Michelle stopped making jokes, there was a problem.

"...I will kill that woman after this is over with. I'm going to be the last thing she never sees." Michelle said darkly. Rhiase had made an enemy out of one of DEVGRU's best snipers, and if she harmed Sheppard or Hunter, well...the wind could do unfortunate things to a bullet's trajectory and leave the target dying slowly...

Major Fred Rivers
Captain Harly Green
1st Lieutenant Charlotte Summers
Company Sergeant Major Gary Carter

<Wraith Hive~Puddle Jumper>

As the team got to the Jumper SG-12 took up a side row in the rear passenger compartment. Fred had to admit he had been caught off guard by Elena's retort to his comment to the wraith, she seamed to be a little high strung at the moment, though she hadn't let on to that building up. Fred, and by extent the rest of his team were used to being captured, First Jaffa, then Ori, then the Lucian Alliance, the Wraith were no different. And he wasn't about to let the Wraith know being captured got to him, not as much as the others getting angry revealed,

It was like UKSF training, during the captured stage, If you got to angry at your captors, you let them know they were getting to you, and if you did that, you failed. All of SG-12 had done it, though not exactly following the rules, Fred's response to the interrogation was to be an arse to the drill staff, he knew Gary had just been quiet, He knew Harly had passed though she never spoke about it, just describing it as one of the worst things she had endured, and Fred knew Charlotte had failed that part of the training, though he had over looked it, he wanted her as his medical officer, and in his mind if some of the USAF staff could come straight out of the academy, she was ok in his mind and he had convinced the MOD that she was the right person for the position of British Field Medical Officer of course they had their own army doctors to keep an eye on all the SGC's new medical advances and discoveries back in London.

Though he remained quiet, he sat closest to the door, scanning the rear of the jumper for any weapons, he knew M9's and SAW's and AT-4's were among the Jumpers standard supplies, though was trying to make it look like he wasn't looking for anything specific. He wasn't about to launch a one man attack, but he would feel safer in the enemy lair with something, though if push came to shove he was sure an empty box, or fire extinguisher would make an adequate improvised weapon, at least enough to get a stunner off of one of the drones guarding them, plus it wasn't as if the Jumper didn't have weapons. As he looked he thought about the fact they hadn't had their equipment returned, he wasn't thinking about their weapons right then, more on their vests, radios and other equipment, it defiantly didn't seam like this wraith was making a good first impression if they were meant to be allies.

<Flynn SG4>

Flynn tugged her boots on hurriedly, not wanting to be there a second longer.  She had no idea why they were being let go, but she wasn't going to question it.  She just followed the others, not taking an easy breath til they stepped into the Jumper.  "Did anyone else find that odd?" She asked.

<Bridge>

 Rhiase felt she had no need to explain herself but this continual aggression from the human was starting to irritate her. If that went to far, she may not be able to control her sense of self preservation, her inner being that could cause her to lash out. Something that she went to great lengths to avoid as far as these people were concerned. She had held it back when Atlantis had captured her all that time ago, she held it back when they shamed Guide into bargaining for her release. There was a limit as to how much she could endure. Though knowing this man was trying his best to goad her, Rhiase merely told him that he should know. “In the first place ‘Master Chief’…” She almost bit the words on her tongue. “..the battle as you call it was already over when I arrived, in the second place I saved your team. In the moments between that event and the time you had arrived, I had only finished conducting my ‘interview’ with Major Rivers. I will also point out, he shows far more decorum in conducting a civil conversation than you do. Now can we please get on?” It would come as no surprise to him that she was able to speak so freely in the human way. If only either of them knew that she kept hidden even from her Wraith kin.

                                                                          ****************

 It had been far too quiet for Elle, it had been far too long to wait. For the last ten minutes or so she had thought seriously about making a show and sending in the entire ship’s company of Marines, all three hundred of them.  She only stopped herself from that commitment knowing that aboard a Hive ship of that size was probably in excess of over five thousand Wraith.  Granted at least half of them would be in hibernation, but it still made the odds heavily in their favor.

 She was about to do the last thing she wanted to do, since there was no apparent threat from the ship, to hail it. It had all the hallmarks of the one they called Todd, so maybe she was in luck today. Elle wasn’t about to start chewing her nails, though she was close to it when Carrie approached her. “We can speak here please Doctor Svennson, I’m loathe to leave the bridge at the present time."

  “Casey take five, go make some coffee.” She said to her TO, the rest of the bridge crew were far enough out of earshot. “Shoot.” She said, then a buzzing came over the intership coms.  That was strange, until she saw the immediate images thrown up on the screen. There was Sheppard and the Chief standing as easy as you pleased on the bridge of hive. Elle saw the woman behind them, she looked all too human except for the faint lines on her cheeks. “Half breed.” She thought, though not of Michael’s making she could see that easily. “Pleased to see a friendly face Master Chief.” She told him. “I was expecting the worst, you called just in time. So what do we have other than…what did you say?” She was sure he said ‘primary objective’.

<Wraith Vessel - Bridge>

"...you're not going to get the last word in, just drop it." Sheppard warned, while Jason flipped up an obscene hand gesture off screen at their captor.

"Yeah, you heard right. Her methodology really sucks but reading past all of that, she's got a few good points to make. First and foremost, we need a link right McNow to Atlantis, right to Woolsey's office for Colonel Sheppard, because the Vanir are on the war path, and they're killin' anyone and everyone." Jason explained, "Secondly, though just as important, she knows where Mike is. There's some more, but that can come later, and in private. Just know that he's alive and she's going to show us where he is after Sheppard talks to Woolsey." Jason paused for a moment.

"Skipper, frankly, I hate this lady. She's arrogant, she's self-righteous, and she's a friggin' Wraith. Hell, Noriega sits higher on my list than her right now. I'd frankly like to pop her right square in the mouth. But. She's also got a pretty good point. The Vanir were loose cannons back when they showed up at Atlantis those years ago, and now they're pulling a play straight out of the Replicators' book. We need Mike back, but we also need to tell the brass they better put on their big boy britches and get ready to throw down with the Vanir." Jason said.

< Dreadnaught, Bridge >

Carrie nodded, returned the small smile she got from Casey as he left and after taking a deep breath, begun. “It’s about those prisoners that were brought on board. I have some very interest…”
Her voice died out. ‘They had an away team on a nearby hive ship?’ She shot a not so very calm look on Elle, then back at the screen, listening intently at the Chief.
Instinctively, Carrie placed a hand on Elle’s shoulder when they got the news that Mike was alive… or at least they were told he was alive. The touch was a gentle one, more an attempt to ground the captain rather than a firm one to hold her back in the chair.
Even though she wanted to believe her friend and colleague was alive, this wraith woman had everything to prove.

<Cate-SG4-Puddle Jumper>

 With everyone secured there was nothing now hindering them leaving. Cate did feel guilty for having to go so quickly, with Sheppard and the Master Chief staying, yet there was little they or she could do about it. Well not exactly, but Cate wasn't about to go ballistic at this juncture with the result being that someone could be killed and it may be not who she might choose in this instance. She closed the rear door, then announced. "Unfortunately we don't have a bathroom, so if anyone wants to go to the loo, you'll have to bake it until we get back to the Dread. Stand by." Focusing on the mental input needed for the Ancient tech, the Puddle Jumper was soon moving at speed, straight out the huge Wraith hangar bay with her line of flight going directly to the Dread.

 As the Jumper touched down lightly after clearance was given, Cate re-opened the door. She stood immediately though she needed others to move out of the way first.

((Will post Rhiase/ Elle after others update.))

<<From Atlantis Base>>

Passengers delivered to the mainland, coordinates locked in, jump into hyperspace complete.

They'd be at the Dreadnought fast.

Evan glanced over his shoulder at O'Neil. "You want to send up the hail when we arrive, or shall I? Also - duly noted. Memo to the SGC about in-flight entertainment."

Major Fred Rivers
Captain Harly Green
1st Lieutenant Charlotte Summers
Company Sergeant Major Gary Carter

<Puddle Jumper>

Fred sighed as he put his head back against the wall of the Jumper as they flew towards their own ship. It definatly felt like leaving a task unfinished. Or worse. Running from a fight. Not that he wanted to get in to a gun or fist fight with the wraith. But just leaving that wraith woman. With her being able to get the last word in bugged him. Though, he still wasnt about to let that out like the others had.

Once they landed he and his team stood up and cleared the jumper. Though they hung around the exit. Somewhat unsure what to do. He decided to just follow the others. He knew they were probobly meant to go to medical. So the doctors could check they haddnt been implanted with anything that listened in or went boom. But he doubted the others would.
