Life is a dream — that knows no shade.
Life is a dream — of pain and woe.
A dream from which — we pray to wake.
A dream from which — we wake and go

The following are criteria the Staff will consider when a request for a weapon outside of the above list is requested -

1 - Any weapon that requires it to be assembled by hand, regardless of if by the Armory Team or third party source. (Example: The Carter Special, even though it is an AR-platform rifle, it was built from the ground up)

2 - Any weapon that requires it to be special ordered, either to be built or to rebuild an existing weapon (Example: Sending off a Glock pistol or AR rifle to Sailent Arms to undergo upgrades per their Tier One line.)

3 - Any weapon that is in service with a country that has not been previously cleared into the Stargate Program within an IC year of the request date (Example: Requesting an Ultimax 100 Mk. 5, which is from Singapore, who are not cleared into the Program)

4 - Any weapon that has a limited serial run or only existed in a prototype phase. REQUESTS IN THIS LINE WILL REQUIRE THE PLAYER TO ANSWER TO WHY THEY WANT IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. (Example: Requesting a G11, which never went into production and is extremely unlikely that the SGC will be able to sneak an order to H&K to build any, much less the ammunition. Alternatively, requesting an SR-47, which had a run of less than 1000.)

In regards to Sidearms - The Staff only requests that models that are not in the above list be requested to verify that the model is considered suitable for use. It should be kept in mind that the user is responsible for any weapon that they procure on their own and should try to get something chambered in either 9x19mm or .45ACP if they are not willing to be responsible for their own ammo either.

In regards to Sniper Rifles - In recognition of the fact that a sniper on a team may not have trained on any of the listed rifles, a team sniper may be, with Staff approval, allowed to bring the rifle they trained on from their previous service. The rifle must be a model used by their previous service at the time they transferred into the Program. Any other rifle must be requested through the Non Standard procedure.

The Staff may make exceptions where possible, such as in the case of SGSOCOM Task Forces, who may have access to equipment outside of normal procurement chains due to their Special Forces nature. However, the Staff must be contacted prior to their use.

The following terms will be grounds for an automatic REJECTED response from the Staff.

1 - The weapon is not in production at the IC time request of the request (IE: Requesting the Thales EF88/F90 in 2011. The weapon was demonstrated in mid-2012 and did not enter production until 2013.)

2 - A post is already made before any ruling was made. In this, the post will be deleted as well, and should the player persist, there will be disciplinary action.

3 - Requests that were previously rejected without any sort of change to the condition of the request. (IE: Player requests the use of the SIG Sauer MPX, which did not enter production until 2014. The request is rejected. The player makes the same request but the IC year is still before 2014. The request is rejected again. - Alternatively - The player makes the same request when the IC year is after the model enters production. The request is then approved.)

All requests are to be sent to Cipher via PM, whereupon the case will be given due attention in private, and a tracker will be made available for all Staff to review said rulings.
