"Doing just as well as can be expected. You should go pay them a visit, I know Sam would like that." Jack replied before letting the Chief Master Sergeant open the gate. He casually took another sip from his mug before the response came. His younger self was right about one thing; Ba'al was proving to be more tedious than anything.

"The nature, Allienna, is your old man. And I doubt we're going to cover everything we need to about him in 34 minutes, particularly the part where he evidently flew the coop on your watch. So, let's skip the usual posturing and you just come on over so we can figure out how we can put dear ol' dad back in snake jail." Jack said. Of course, he would've preferred at this point to put Ba'al six feet under. Maybe pour some concrete on top just to be sure...

"I was going to ask you sir, but since you've extended an invite I'll make a point of it." Walter's wife and two boys would love it, and of course since he was so close to both Jack and Sam, so would he.

The young queen pursed her lips as she heard once again the vile rumor; to which she had to stop here and now, with the Tauri at least. That would be a good start. "Let me be clear General O'Neill from the start. While my mother the former queen has never hidden the fact she had a relationship with the former System Lord and I will not deny she had not bedded him for favors in the past. The outcome of my lineage and birth had naught to do with him or any other System Lord or Goa'uld for that matter. That applies to both myself and my host." She breathed in deeply, this whole thing from beginning to end Allienna felt as if she had been set up. "What puzzles me General is to how word has spread so quickly. I was only informed myself no less than an hour ago. Expect to see me within 30 minutes."

"She sounds annoyed doesn't she General?" Walter couldn't help saying that.

Jack wasn't going to change his approach or statement. If anything, it only further encouraged him...

"Fine. So he won't be coming to the next family reunion. But yes, we need to have a sit down, because he obviously got into one of his little plans again. And you've got 30 minutes to the dot, because I'm not feeling all that patient today. Just saying."

Jack looked at Walter, lowering his voice so it wouldn't broadcast.

"You've met a happy sounding Goa'uld that didn't involve bad news for us?" He asked, semi-rhetorically.

"Then we have an accord General. I too am running very short on patience with this Sholva. I will be there shortly, on my own. As it is now my trust is also diminishing by the day." After that last transmission the Stargate shut down abruptly.

"No sir I haven't, well not if we don't count Nerus, but the end was still the same wasn't it General?" Walter kind of felt sorry for that particular Goa'uld, caught between a rock and hard place so to speak. "I guess she'll dial in again shortly." Waiting was always awkward.

"...bye." He said, but the call was already cut off.

"...was he the fat guy in the toga? I feel like that was the dumbest budget meeting I had for a while, explaining all the food and whatnot." Jack replied, "I'll be in...Ian's office. Let me know when she shows up, please. Thanks, Walter."

"Yessir that was him and I know you're going to find this a little weird, but I still have that selfie he insisted that we take of him with you and me. I don't know why but whenever I look at it, I have to laugh. Ah....its locked away I should say sir." Walter turned his head sideways. "I'll call you General as soon as she dials in."

Walter looked up at the clock as soon as the noise began of the first dial chevron being registered, one by one the ights glowed until there were all locked and the wormhole was established albeit behind the Iris. Twenty nine minutes and ten seconds, 'not bad' he mused. Allienna sent a pre-arranged code through, spoken, allowing Walter to lower the Iris then he waited.

Four solid SGC SF's stood at the bottom of the ramp with their weapons drawn. Receiving a Goa'uld was dicey at any time, even more so an unknown entity such as the young Queen. While Earth had worked with her so very recently, still she was relatively a blank slate to them.

"Is this my reception?" Allienna said casually as she strode down the ramp, dressed in what could only be loosely described as a ball gown perhaps, but not quite. The skirt fell just below her knees with the left side split almost to the thigh. She wore the pure gold necklace that was once seen on her mother, the only identifiable sign of who she was.

Fumbling for his words up in the control room, Walter hesitated as he looked down on the woman. "Damn, she's younger than my boys." "Er no ma'am, just a security precaution to ensure your safety." He told her then nervously hit the speed dial on the intercom. "General O'Neill, she's here now. Shall I have security escort her up sir?"

"Thank you for calling me, Walter." Jack commented as he made his way down.

"Well. Hi there, glad you could make it. I was going to call anyways, hoped to sit down with you and the 'ol snake council, see if we could maybe figure out what all the hub bub was about with the Borg. But I guess that'll have to wait, won't it? C'mon." Jack said, leading the way to the Briefing Room.

It was a good thing that Allienna not only knew much about Jack O'Neill and human behavior, because if it were any other Goa'uld, particularly one of the few females still surviving, they would naturally be offended by the man's manner. Ali wasn't, she was raised in a human household so she was well schooled on the various odd ways of the Tauri.

"That is not something we have time to discuss at the moment General, and I seriously doubt any of the so called System Lords (was she putting them down?) might be willing to have such a meeting; they are still licking their wounds so to speak." Gracefully she followed Jack up to the briefing room.
