Sin was forming strong doubts about these humans.  They wanted to suffer out in the freezing cold, they had no idea who to speak to or not to speak to, and they never had a clue what to say other than to warn them no one liked them here.

It was all fine to him.  He didn't want to speak to these incompetents.

He figured his commander was meeting with the Tau'ri purely to keep from angering them and giving them a reason to later shoot them down as they looked for their missing people.

Why did these humans care, anyway?

~How long do they intend to take?~ he asked his superior.

So much for inquiries.  He had never really observed Atlantis from the outside, let alone bothering to take notice of the inside the last time he was here.  No point anymore, it seemed.  He shouldn't be encouraging these people

It didn't escape Bonewhite's attention that Captain O'Niel had somewhat evaded their presence in the transporter. This and the warning they should watch their looks told him that the humans were as little prepared for cooperation as most of his Wraith brothers were. The mutual distrust just sat too deep within their peoples.

The warning had not been necessary; the looks they got from the Atlantis staff were warning enough. Bonewhite saw stares of open curiousity – apparently new personnel fresh from Earth – as well as the odd hostile glare. Many centuries of dealing with politics had taught him how to arrange his face in a blank expression, giving away nothing.

As he received Sin's question, he hesitated. ~I am not sure. They appear rather intend on doing everything by their protocol.~ He gave the mental equivalent of a shrug. ~They don't know yet what to make of us; they are wary – as we should also be. I do hope though that we will meet Mr. Woolsey now.~

He then turned to Captain Baker. In other times, he would have liked to ask about technical aspects of the control room – not for their strategical value but because he was always interested in the organisation and efficiency of such a complex structure of a hive-like community, or city as it were. "Thank you, we would like to see Mr. Woolsey at his earliest convenience."

Taking the lead Jordan mounted the stairs quickly, her long strides taking them to the top in rapid time. Once their she turned to her guests. "I don't know if either of you have dealt directly with Richard before, although Kenny I think you have." Was she getting too comfortable with the familiar? Frankly she didn't care. Already she had overheard some members of the city using the term 'Wraith lovers' directed at some other personnel. She knew she was included in that number.

"He is a direct talker and he can see through people. So be truthful and don't hide anything." Now headed in the right direction, Jordan spoke again to Mike. "Let's hope he's in a better mood today than last night. I'm sure he is going through some kind of personal dilemma with Sheppard not here." Quite a few were in fact.

John soon arrived at the Gate room locked and loaded as it were. Seemed something was happening or even had happened. He looked around for Captain O’neil But couldn’t find her, it was then he noticed how on edge everyone seemed.

“Did I miss something?” John asked with some concern.

Either way he was ready for duty and if something did happen he wanted to help. He knew he needed to meet with the other members of his team immediately.

[ W.O.Cooper Morgan]
With all that was going on around him, Cooper was glad that he had had chow early this morning! He had checked his weapon, several times, especially after catching a glimpse of the guests, being escorted by the Captain up to Mr. Woolseys offices.  He wasnt nervous about the Wraith being around, they were allies and the treaty justcenforced Coopers sense of duty. He tried not to make any judgements about them. Policy was for those in the upper ranks. He still had to check his new insignia..recalling his promotion.
Now as a W.O, his primary focus was his team, officer and the mission. Of course there was always talk , speculations..but first his duty and hang the speculation Sergeant Valentine, lets go check-in with Amelia and see if shes heard anything from. captain Agathon or from Captain O'Neill!
Cooper approached Amelias station,"Excuse Me..Amelia, have you received any word yet?"

"You just missed them sir. I don't know how long they'll be so I guess you all should make yourselves comfortable." Even though she was speaking to Cooper, in essence she was addressing all of them gathered there. "I think its going to be a busy day."

If standing still for a long time without moving an inch was an accomplishment, Jon felt an award was deserved. With his arms behind his back and keeping his standby pose, he turned his neck and craned it to the point of his stretching it and groaning softly. A while ago, he had called for security on Woolsley's orders and they were placed in several places. The four SFs were placed at the foot of the stairs. Two stood near Amelia and additional two stood outside Woolsey's room. Jon advised them to be at high alert and watching for trouble. Having two Wraith in the base was calling for trouble and Jon felt soemthing was coming.

Jon turned and nodded at Amelia after seeing both Valentine and Morgan, "Agreed. Gonna be busy."

Jon watched the door to Woolsely's office open as his CO entered along with the other person, he couldn't remember his name. They never met formally. Jon found himself wistfully thinking, I should be in there for the meeting.

John quickly got caught up understanding the gist of what was occurring, though he didn’t actually know why their visitors had arrived. He however absolutely despised having the Wraith on the base. He missed the alien races he’d been briefed on back in the Milky Way, those ones were on average much nicer and far less likely to turn around and try devouring him. Well the ones with space travel at least weren’t likely to try.

He understand his orders well enough to know that trying anything or even mentioning it was wrong. He also knew the Wraith had a way of knowing things, he hoped deep inside it made them feel just uncomfortable enough to make them realise trying anything was against their interests. He however wasn’t willing to hesitate if one of them went feral.

“So any idea why we still need them working with us anyway.” John asked trying not to let his anger show.

“Seems like every time we sit down and negotiate we’re insulting every human in this galaxy.” Too many advanced human societies in this galaxy had at one point or another tried working with the Wraith only to regret it later.

 <From Cafeteria>

All Lou could do was shake her head; after of course greeting the others there. "No idea Sergeant, no idea at all. But if you ask me, its the same as back on Earth really...every time our appointed leaders put pen to paper for some treaty or whatever, even free trade agreements; someone else's nose is going to be out of joint." That's the way she saw it, and that was the reason every time she had voted since Lou was eighteen, she merely folded the blank ballot papers up, stuffing them in the ballot box.

"I can say this much though. And only because I'm a little biased here on account of one of them saving my life. The Wraith can be an honourable bunch and rarely will they lie to you."

John isn’t amused at the suggestion at all. “With all respect Corporal, I don’t think a creature that eats people can be honourable.”

“Probably saved your life so that it can have you with some tea and chocolate chip cookies later.” He knew speaking like that could cause a diplomatic incident if it was overheard but he wasn’t in a very politically friendly mood.

John didn’t think it was a wise choice to have the leader of the base and their CO in the same room as the Wraith either. He knew how quickly they could feed on someone, how many bullets they could take if they were well fed enough, and he was certain that Todd’s minions were well fed.

His hand was simply itching to grab his gun and barge into that room. But military discipline kept him from doing so as well as a mixture of belief that those in command knew what they were doing.
